There are few users I’ve ever told /exactly/ what went wrong with the system. Usually I’ll parse it out in language that makes sense, without going into specifics.

This keeps the conversation relatively easy to manage, and keeps me from having to admit when I don’t know exactly why the server stopped screwing up and just started to work correctly for no reason!
